What does each stat do in World of Warcraft? ›

While Strength or Agility will make you always hit a little harder, critical strike rating makes you sometimes hit a lot harder. Haste lets you do more (whether its providing resources for melee or speeding up caster spells). Mastery makes you better at what you do.

Druids, Paladins, Shaman and Warriors receive 1% Critical Strike Chance for every 20 points of Agility. Rogues receive 1% Critical Strike Chance for every 29 points of Agility. Hunters receive 1% Critical Strike Chance for every 53 points of Agility.

Defense is a skill that helps prevent physical damage by reducing the chance to be hit or critically hit. Additionally, it also increases block, dodge and parry.
